WELCOME TO ZOO STATION ONLINE! -- The Home of the Complete U2 Experience! From Boy to How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, ZOO STATION will take you on a musical journey from Dublin to the heart of America and back again. If you've ever wondered what it would've been like to catch U2 in a bar back in the day, now is your chance. Come on down, have a pint and enjoy some of your favorite songs!!
5.8.08 BOY/GIRL
We're guessing only four people at the Powerhouse Pub recognized "Touch" when we started playing it Friday night in Folsom -- unfortunately only 3 of those
people were on stage (insert rim-shot audio clip). Seriously folks, we're getting pretty pumped about the reissues of the first three albums later this Summer, so we're digging deep into the early days for fun songs to play.
And what better place to play some of these cuts than the Blackthorn Tavern?! In fact, we've been so enamoured by the YouTube.com clips from U2's San Francisco show in May of 1981, we're going to make our middle set a BOY TOUR set!
I think the whole set is up there, so have fun with that. Looking at our gig scehdule, it could be the last time we play the City for a good while. See ya Friday!
5.1.08 T-T-T-TOUCHING YOU
Zoo Station is headed back to Folsom this Friday for a gig at the Powerhouse Pub. It's one of our favorite places to play, and we look forward to a full
night of tunes. This is also our first time back since Adamesque shot that man in Reno just to watch him die, but this is neither the time nor place to go into details. Shame on you, Adamesque!
4.23.08 FAST CARS
Despite the freaky, freaky April snowstorm we drove thru, we had a great time up in Eugene (at left) and Portland, Oregon last weekend. A big thanks to all those people who came out to see us. We hope to be back up there in the near future.
Up next is a return trip to the Sweetwater Station in Larkspur. You can reserve your tickets ahead of time by clicking here to avoid any hassles. The Scott Woods Band gets the
evening started, so come early and drink often. We're back in Folsom the following weekend, so check out our upcoming shows for
more info and links to tickets, directions and all that stuff.
